Golden Retriever Training
Hello thank you for your comment. It seems from their web site that they have a secure field in Stokes Bay Gosport. If you wish to know about a particular event it maybe best to contact them direct. I hope the above has helped.
Hi,
I just feel people should know how professional Bark2school are, I have recently completed a 6 week training course there and the results have been amazing due to their enthusiasm, positive training methods and dedication my 10 month old cocker spaniel has come on in leaps and bounds. I also used their 1-1 behaviour consultations to look into an issue I had with my dog with retrieving a ball as she would just run off, which was very dangerous in certain places. 45 mins with Ros the trainer and not only was my dog bringing the ball back but I understood how to rectify the issue. Lovely people and the service they provide is fantastic value for money, the best training school around. I would ask anyone reading this to please support them ,as there are not many good business around so when you find one they should be recognised! I will certainly be going to future courses. Thank you Ros and Emma.
Hello Michelle,
This is great to see. I have never owned a dog, if that is the correct term, but we had one when I was a child.
I have seen that a dog is a member of the family, perhaps when it all works out a more loyal one than the 'Children'. I hope you do not mind as a non-dog owneer, it seems sometime the dog knows the family rules but perhaps at times the family dosn't. I remember my sister and brother-in-law had a big powerful dog but when he was running around and arriving at a young child it would detore and not bump in to the child, also the way it 'protected' differently when my brotrher-in-law was in or out.
I do feel that in the best circumstances a dog can be the best member of the family. They can accept they are not the most important member of the family. Will look after the family but needs to know 'in the proper way' where it belongs. I am not sure I could have a dog as I would be perhaps 1) inconsistant or 2) too soft.
They are great for a family, as the family looks after the dog and the dog looks after the family.
