1) First I would like to wish you all the best for 2012, and hope if you have a Gosport business, involved with a Gosport organisation or an event in Gosport.  Please let me know so I can including on Gosport.info web site and if appropriate, on the calendar and blog. If I get the hang of Facebook and Twitter perhaps on them. When I say 'Gosport' really any links to Gosport count. Richard Reynolds of GosportGoLive http://www.gosportgolive.com/ produces videos and has offered them to Gosport.info, I understand this is what is happening now, but I did not know if I could do this myself. You will see later in this Newsletter where an experiment between Gosport.info and GosportGoLive is to be made over the next few months. I hope this will be OK for you and you will understand that new things need to be tried to continue and I hope improve the web site. Please me have any comments that you have ian@gosport.info

2) You may have already heard but Sarah Greenaway, the Events Officer at Gosport Discovery Centre has organised a new group called Down Memory Lane. It's an opportunity for people who are passionate about Gosport and love to talk about how it used to be. We are encouraging people to bring along any photos or postcards of Gosport that they would like to share and chat about. It is intended as a very informal, friendly evening in the Local Studies Centre on the High Street, Gosport . It will run from 5 to 7pm starting Tuesday 17th January and the group will meet every third Tuesday of the month (a free event).

3) Thorngate Halls Wedding & Prom Weekend 25-26th February 2012
Saturday is a prom theme with lots of Prom dresses. Sunday wedding theme. It will be a very interactive event fun event. In the Theatre there will be stands where you can have full Body Spray Tan - Make up - Hair - Nails - Massage - Cartoons - Pro Photo and much more all for 5 pounds each. In the Ball room working fun casino. Working Choc Fountain for a pound ago.
I have entertainers singing from the stage, then mingling with the wedding suppliers and the crowd.
