Thank you for your email. I have not come across the Gosport Automobile Club and only this reference on the Internet. http://www.tamsoldracecarsite.net/BaldwinSpecial2.html and http://www.oldclassiccar.co.uk/iota.htm . It seems the club may have only been around for a few years in the 50's but seems to have got international recognition.
I think I will do a request for ex members of past Gosport clubs and societies, I could use this one as an example.

Hi Ian, I really enjoyed my time with the 7th Gosport Cubs and Scouts which met at the Nicholson Hall, Gosport in the late fifties/early sixties. I would like to get in touch with other people who went and remember Mr Wilson the scoutmaster, and Mrs Greenaway the cubmistress (Akela) Thanks Geoff Mawdsley (I have bits on your other site!)
