On Friday the 16th of July 2010, the Carisbrooke Arms, in Gosport, is proud to present an evening of entertainment with darts professional Wayne 'Hawaii 501' Mardle. Wayne Mardle, who is known for his charismatic entrances on the PDC circuit, will take the stage and play exhibition darts throughout the evening. In addition to the exhibition, music will be provided by the Carisbrooke's very own Kat Perrio.

Event organiser Marc Farrance said ‘We hope the evening will be entertaining and enjoyable for everybody, especially those of us who love our darts. What makes the event even more special is that we will be raising money for a very worthwhile charity, DebRA’.

The event will be in support of the DebRA Childrens charity.
DebRA is the national charity working on behalf of people in the UK with the genetic skin blistering condition Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). A charity raffle and auction will be held on the night. The raffle includes at least ten chances to play Wayne on stage, as well as many other bumper prizes, including a pair of free tickets to the PDC World Championships at Alexandra Palace in January 2011.

Event organiser Gary Morris said ‘It’s a real coup to get somebody of Wayne’s stature to come to Gosport, if people get behind and support this event there’s no reason we can’t attract more sporting personalities into the area for future events’.

Raffle Tickets are available now, from behind the bar, and are priced at £5.00 each. Raffle Tickets will also be on sale on the night. All profits from the event will be donated to the DebRA charity.

Wayne Mardle added ‘I am delighted to be coming to the Gosport to help raise much needed funds for Debra’.
