I am trying to research my family history, and I know my grandfather lived in Gosport with his first wife at 157 Stokes Road, Gosport.
Later on I understand there was a bigamy case against him, I was just wondering If you would have access to any local newspapers archives in Gosport, or know where to access them to see if there was any evidence of the bigamy case. Thanks for your time. Jane

You would need to make a personal visit to Portsmouth Central Library to view the microfilm of the back numbers of the Portsmoth Evening News? You would need specific dates or month of events as it is not computerised.
